I'm Elizabeth Neely. I spent almost 12 years at one of Australia's Big 4 banks, including seven years building and leading the Personnel Due Diligence capability.
My role was to understand the requirements, develop the approach, and lead the team responsible for putting it into practice in a large organisation, across multiple jurisdictions.
Earlier in my career, I worked closely with Partners and senior leaders in professional services, supporting workforce planning and capability decisions, experience that shaped how I think about getting new processes adopted by the people who actually have to run them.
When Australia’s AML/CTF Tranche 2 reforms brought Personnel Due Diligence into professional services, I saw a problem I knew well. The requirement can be clear on paper. Turning it into something a business can actually run is another matter.
That’s why I started Clearhouse.
